Eaton is seeking an Indirect Buyer for its Glenolden, PA facility. The role will work with the Master Scheduler to release purchase orders on time and negotiate contracts for production materials, while managing the indirect material flow for the site.

The position offers an annual salary range of $71,000 to $105,000, depending on skills and experience, with opportunities to support lean initiatives and supplier performance in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in supply chain.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Export-control information requires U.S. person status.
• No relocation benefits; within 50-mile radius of Glenolden, PA.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current orders and data to determine best source.
• Maintain adequate supply of assigned commodities.
• Reduce excess inventory and maximize value per policies.
• Resolve issues related to source, price, deliveries, and specs with suppliers and internal teams.
• Assist with payment issues and rescheduling when necessary.
• Maintain part parameters with MRP and adjust inventory for scrap/damage.
• Support Lean initiatives and value stream mapping.
• Manage Ariba system for purchasing and PFEP strategy.
