Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited college or university.
• License to practice law in the State of Georgia or eligibility to sit for the next Georgia Bar examination followed by Georgia Bar exam passage and licensure to practice law in the State of Georgia within one year of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Zealously represents indigent clients at all appropriate stages of the criminal process, consistent with the attorney’s assigned division.
• Evaluates each case for appropriate referrals to accountability courts, diversion programs, and social services.
• Experienced attorneys provide training, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced attorneys.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
