The Nature Conservancy in Nebraska seeks an Indigenous Partnerships Specialist to develop and advance Tribal engagement strategy, plan and manage programs that support Tribal nations and Indigenous communities. You will serve as the primary liaison with Tribal Nations and Indigenous communities, advising and leading programs focused on Tribal history, sovereignty, and Traditional Ecological Knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in natural resource management or related field.
• Experience working with Tribal Nations and Indigenous communities in a culturally appropriate manner.
• Strong relationship-building to work with Tribal partners, officials, and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently to meet timelines.
• Experience communicating in English and other relevant languages.
• Proficiency with common software such as Word, Excel, and web browsers.
• Experience in training.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
