Job summary

NCW in Indianapolis seeks a Sr. Pharma Controls Engineer to lead controls design and integration in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical sites. The role demands deep hands-on automation experience and the ability to work with validation and quality teams to ensure compliant system implementations.

You'll work with DeltaV, Allen-Bradley PLCs, and Rockwell SCADA, review design docs, test strategies, and help guide system integrations and ASRS/conveyors. Independent SME capability is required.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in pharmaceutical / GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on controls and automation experience inside operating pharma facilities.
• Experience working alongside validation / quality teams.
• Comfortable operating within structured documentation and compliance environments.
• Emerson DeltaV experience strongly preferred.
• Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC experience required.
• SCADA such as Rockwell FactoryTalk and Ignition.
• Experience with automated systems: ASRS, conveyors, and system integrations.
• Experience reviewing technical design documentation.
• Experience reviewing or executing test strategies.
• Ability to function independently as a technical SME when needed.

Required Background:

Technical Requirements:
