What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide efficient account receivable services to maximize reimbursement for member clinics
- Accurately bill Medicare, Medicaid, self-pay/uninsured, and commercial insurance
- Monitor accounts receivable, check claim status, and resubmit claims for overdue accounts
- Answer phone calls from patients regarding account balances and provide compassionate customer service
- Maintain complete and accurate billing and accounts receivable records

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience in billing and accounts receivable services, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in data entry and computer operations, including experience with billing software

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems
- Familiarity with denial management and collections strategies
- Previous experience in a nonprofit healthcare environment
