The Role:

We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Therapist to support our mission in democratizing access to high-quality mental health care! Cerebral takes a holistic and comprehensive approach when providing care for our patients. This therapist role provides direct care for a panel of clients and allows for flexibility when client sessions can be scheduled. You can see clients during traditional business hours, evenings, or on weekends.

This position is a 1099 independent contract role. Current state license requirements include: Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, Nebraska, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, or Washington.

Who you are:

• Independently Licensed Therapist in the United States for any of the following license structures: Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Work
• You are licensed and in good standing in at least one state; must be open to obtaining additional state licenses upon starting
• Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or equivalent
• Experience in diagnosing mental health disorders in accordance with the DSM-5 criteria
• Maintain a strong evidence-based clinical skill set while practicing & implementing outcome-focused care
• Empathetic and intuitive listening
• Knowledgeable in crisis response
• Comfortable working autonomously in a telemedicine environment
• Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate various systems & tools with ease
• Passionate about our mission of improving access to high-quality mental health care
• An entrepreneurial spirit or previous experience within a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred

How your skills and passion will come to life at Cerebral:

• Conduct therapeutically sound sessions with clients weekly or bi-weekly for 45 minutes
• Provide anywhere from 15-40 hours of weekly availability
• Create your own flexible schedule based on your individual availability!
• Work collaboratively with prescribers who are managing your clients' medication, in tandem with therapy services you are providing
