Join a growing, forward-thinking team that values patient care and offers hope to the residents of Mahoning and Trumbull County! Meridian HealthCare is seeking full-time and part-time, independently licensed treatment therapists, including those with licenses in LISW, LPCC, LISW-S, LPCC-S, LICDC, and LICDC-CS, to join our team. Our therapists enjoy free CEUs offered throughout the year, with an emphasis on supervision, ethics, and trauma-informed care, as well as generous benefits to encourage self-care (see details below). Starting yearly salary begins at $58,000 and up commensurate with experience and licensure.

Daily Expectations And Duties - Overview

  • Assess patients, coordinate assessments, and prepare a narrative summary that includes problem areas, client strengths, treatment recommendations, and diagnosis.
  • Provide individual counseling and patient access to individualized treatment.
  • Facilitate the patient’s active participation in treatment planning and inform the patient of available alternative treatment services and procedures.
  • Participate in an integrated healthcare network that emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Coordinate with care managers to provide wrap-around services.
  • Participate in weekly clinical supervision meetings.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field (LISW, LPCC, LICDC required)
  • Supervisor designation is strongly preferred but not required
  • Competency or training in mental health, substance use disorder treatment, and co-occurring disorders
