Job summary

Ensisinfo Inc. is seeking an IV&V Analyst to identify, assess, and track project risks on a state agency IT modernization project in California.

The role involves analyzing requirements, evaluating risk, and reporting independent findings to the IV&V Delivery Manager and client. Responsibilities include risk identification, requirements analysis, contractor performance review, documentation of findings, corrective actions, and supporting testing/quality reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects
• 3+ years in business systems analysis and design
• 5+ years of IT project risk assessment and management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (degree year substitution permitted)
• Active certifications in risk management or QA preferred

Job description

We are seeking an IV&V Analyst to identify, assess, and track project risks on a state agency IT modernization project. You will analyze project requirements and deliverables, evaluate risk, and report independent findings to the IV&V Delivery Manager and the client.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify, assess, and track IT project risks and their mitigation
• Analyze business requirements and system deliverables
• Review contractor performance and deliverables against contract requirements
• Document findings and track corrective actions to closure
• Support testing and quality reviews on the project

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5 years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects, including at least 3 years in business systems analysis and design
• At least 5 years of IT project risk assessment and management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree. Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the degree year for year.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience performing COTS evaluation, modification, and integration
• Experience performing software or system quality assurance
• Experience with software testing, including system-level functional and performance testing
• Experience with contractor management
• Active certification in good standing from one of the following: PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP); Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC); CSQE; Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE); ISO 9001 Lead Auditor; ISTQB Certified Tester (Test Analyst); Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP)
• Experience in intelligent transportation systems engineering
