Northern Lights Locating & Inspection, Inc is seeking experienced utility locators to join our nationwide team. You will locate underground utilities in accordance with 811 laws, read maps and GIS data, and use multiple locating methods to clearly mark utilities with paint and flags.

The role requires independence, a valid driver's license, and flexibility for overtime. Expect on-call shifts and opportunities to work with advanced locating technology across multiple projects.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of 811 laws and best locate practices.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Willingness to work overtime and have flexible schedules.
• Maintain a tobacco-free company vehicle and consistent attendance.

Responsabilidades

• Locate underground utilities in compliance with 811 dig laws.
• Read and interpret utility maps, as-built drawings and GIS data.
• Use electronic locating equipment and multiple locating methods.
• Accurately mark utilities using paint and flags.
• Document all work using a mobile app with photos and reports.
• Investigate and document excavation-related utility damages.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
