Northern Lights Locating & Inspection, Inc. is seeking an experienced Utility Locator to join our nationwide team. You’ll locate underground utilities in accordance with 811 laws, read maps and GIS data, and mark utilities with paint and flags.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years utility locating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret utility maps, as-built drawings, and GIS data.
• Willingness to work overtime and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities in accordance with 811 laws.
• Read and interpret maps, as-built drawings, and GIS data.
• Use electronic locating equipment and multiple locating methods.
• Accurately mark utilities with paint and flags.
• Document all work via mobile app with photos and reports.
• Investigate excavation-related utility damages.
