Job summary

Evansville VA Healthcare Center in Indiana is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) for Ultrasound, with potential to perform general radiology within licensure. The incumbent works independently and supports the Radiology Service in the Evansville VA Healthcare system.

The role requires ARRT (R) certification in Radiography, with advanced credentials for CT, MRI or Mammography duties as applicable.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required for radiography practice.
• Completion of a full-time post-high school diagnostic radiologic technology program (minimum 24 months) or equivalent.
• Advanced ARRT certification required for CT/MRI/Mammography where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations and may perform general diagnostic radiology procedures within licensure.
• Work independently to complete assigned ultrasound and radiology tasks.
• Possibility of being assigned CT/MRI/Mammography duties with appropriate credentials.
