Job summary

Transteck, Inc. in Pennsylvania seeks an Account Manager to drive new truck sales in the New Stanton and Altoona areas. The role focuses on selling Freightliner and Western Star medium and heavy-duty trucks to fleets, small businesses, and owner-operators in a B2B environment.

You will prospect, tailor truck specifications, prepare quotations, manage the full sales cycle from order to delivery, and support the sale of other dealership services. A fast-paced, results-driven culture awaits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in truck dealership or related industry.
• Entrepreneurial, independent approach to time and resource management.
• No micromanagement; CRM activity not required; CRM tools provided for organization.
• Strong industry knowledge and trade show participation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealer management/truck specification systems.
• Commercial Driver's License required or willingness to obtain.
• High School Diploma required; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell new Freightliner and Western Star medium and heavy-duty trucks to fleets, small businesses, and owner/operators.
• Prospect for new business and create truck specifications based on customer needs.
• Prepare quotations and manage the full sales cycle from order to delivery.
• Support sale of other dealership services.
• Maintain industry knowledge and participate in trade shows and local associations.
