Job summary

Catholic Charities Maine in Sanford, ME seeks Independent Support Workers to help seniors and disabled adults stay independent at home. Responsibilities include housekeeping, meal planning, errands, and occasional transportation.

Positions available: On-Call (14-18 hrs), Part-Time (20-29 hrs), or Full-Time (30-40 hrs) per week. Pay is $17.69/hour. Benefits include PTO, medical plans, disability coverage, 401k, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to report time worked online.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping tasks such as washing dishes, changing bedding, laundry, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.
• Meal planning and preparation tasks including grocery shopping and bringing groceries into the client’s home.
• Running errands.
• Occasional transportation.
