Catholic Charities Maine is hiring Independent Support Services Workers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes across Cumberland County, ME. The role is 20-29 hours per week, with starting pay of $17.69 per hour.

You will help clients stay independent, perform housekeeping, run errands, and transport clients using your own vehicle, following care plans and completing simple online documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; basic computer skills and ability to print neatly required.
• Reliable personal vehicle (required) and daily travel between client homes.
• Active email address and valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Help clients remain independent in their homes.
• Provide housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Run errands (groceries, pharmacy, appointments).
• Transport clients using your personal vehicle.
• Offer companionship and support with daily tasks.
• Follow care plans and complete simple online documentation.
