Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent instructional contractors to provide engaging, hands‑on science enrichment services for K–12 students at partner schools. These are contract opportunities, not employee roles, with assignments varying by school, grade level, schedule, and curriculum.

Typically after school, contractors complete 1–4 instructional hours per week, with compensation around $50+ per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or leading activities with school-age students.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom facilitation skills.
• Availability to provide services for the accepted schedule and communicate changes promptly.
• Familiarity with classroom technology and web-based educational platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate science enrichment sessions.
• Introduce concepts through safe, hands-on experiments and investigations.
• Adapt activities based on student experience levels and site requirements.
• Guide students through observation, data collection, and scientific inquiry.
• Maintain a safe, respectful learning environment and follow site procedures.
• Provide session completion information and communicate needs with Concorde and staff.
