Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent instructional contractors to provide hands-on science enrichment for K-12 students at partner schools. These are contract opportunities, not employee positions, with assignments varying by school, grade level, schedule, curriculum, and resources.

Contractors may use curriculum guidance but tailor instruction with professional judgment; compensation is per instructional hour, and start dates occur throughout the year with potential for multiple

Qualifications

• At least 60 college credits, as required by assignment.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or leading activities with school-age students.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom facilitation skills.
• Availability to provide services for the assigned schedule.
• Familiarity with classroom technology and educational platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate science sessions.
• Introduce concepts through hands-on experiments and activities.
• Adapt activities based on student levels and site requirements.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Complete session forms after each session.
• Follow site safety and staff procedures.
