Job summary

NOW Courier Inc. is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to service a dedicated delivery route covering Fort Wayne and South Bend. The typical schedule runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with optional work available other days.

You’ll use GPS to plan routes, greet customers professionally, and handle unexpected changes with quick thinking. Vehicle must be SUV or larger (2014+), legal license and insurance, and you’ll pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Vehicle must be an SUV or larger (2014 model year or newer).
• Smartphone capable of running our driver app.
• Valid driver’s license and $300,000+ combined single limit liability insurance.
• Must pass pre-employment screening: driving history (past 36 months), criminal background check, substance abuse (drug) screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with a dedicated route across Fort Wayne and South Bend areas.
• Plan efficient routes using GPS to ensure timely deliveries and optimize fuel usage.
• Provide exceptional, professional customer service and handle questions with empathy.
• Adapt quickly to changes such as traffic delays or address changes to keep deliveries smooth.
