Job summary

SFS, Inc. is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible schedule with project-based pay and the opportunity to service some of the nation’s largest retailers and brands.

Assignments range from 12–20 hours per month, with service windows set by clients. You’ll execute merchandising tasks, maintain displays, and report progress via mobile devices, choosing projects that fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using a mobile device for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Submit project completion reports with photos on the same day services are performed.
