Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser to provide ongoing store support and lead project-based merchandising initiatives in Blackstone, VA. The role emphasizes independent work, relationship-building with store teams, and precise execution of merchandising projects to enhance the customer shopping experience.

The position is an independent contractor with a pay range of $16–$18 per hour, depending on market and experience.

Qualifications

Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb for extended periods.
Ability to lift objects and products up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Smartphones are required for reporting via mobile apps.

Responsibilities

Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation.
Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotional initiatives with precision and attention to detail.
Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and associates.
Ensure planogram compliance and maintain product placement standards.
Complete store visit reports, including photos and detailed feedback, using mobile reporting tools.
Effectively communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates.
Manage schedules and assigned store visits to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
Maintain a high level of quality, professionalism, and accountability across all assignments.
Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed.
