Job summary

SFS is actively seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. Earn flexible, supplemental income by servicing major retailers and brands with a schedule that fits your availability.

Assignments cover merchandising, resets, audits, and display maintenance across multiple locations. Projects are typically 12–20 hours per month, with some windows requiring work early in each month. Great for self-motivated, active professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access for reporting.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
