Job summary

Central Business Solutions, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician – Electrician to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install residential electrical systems while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will work independently and coordinate with homeowners to provide reliable electrical solutions. Responsibilities include 3–4 service calls daily, safety compliance, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum 4 years of residential electrical service experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical codes and standards.
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience performing electrical repairs, installations, and service calls independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with homeowners and provide clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical issues.
• Evaluate homeowners' electrical needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform electrical repairs, upgrades, and installations in compliance with residential electrical codes.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Complete approximately 3–4 residential service calls per day.
• Coordinate daily assignments with the dispatch team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and service activities.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards.
• Travel directly from home to job sites without requiring daily office visits.
