Job summary

BMS Group is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support reinsurance program design, placement, and servicing for internal and external clients. You will assist with underwriting preparation, data analysis, and documentation, contributing to high-quality client service and compliant processes.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with client managers, and timely execution of all steps to ensure optimal client outcomes and policy placements.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of two years of experience in reinsurance, insurance or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of insurance and reinsurance products.
• Ability to build effective relationships with external clients.
• Strong teamwork and communication with all BMS team members.
• Ability to organize and analyze large data sets.
• Proactive initiative and client-focused mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing client accounts and participate in placement with reinsurers.
• Prepare submissions and underwriting narratives; review data sets and identify trends.
• Ensure compliance with BMS quality standards and perform quality control.
• Draft memos and letters to reinsurers and clients for signatures.
• Prepare and finalize contract wording with guidance from the team.
• Draft post-placement memos and market sheets for client sign-off.
• Prepare experience exhibits with accounting and claims teams.
• Maintain and organize client files and documentation.
• Perform special projects as assigned by the client relationship manager.
