Qualifications

• CPR & First Aid Certificate is required.
• Must have a clean background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one on one recreational therapy for clients.
• Assess clients' needs and develop treatment plans.
• Document therapy sessions according to Medicaid regulations.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and with a team

Experience with developmental disabilities

Experience as a Recreational Therapist

Education

Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
