Job summary

Comforting, Loving & Helping Hands Home Care in Alafaya, FL is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled home-based therapy visits under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Compensation is structured per visit or hourly, with rates depending on visit type and service provided.

Qualified candidates will have a Florida PTA license, at least two years of clinical experience, and be comfortable traveling to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license required.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in home health or community-based therapy required.
• CPR certification and Level II background screening required.
• Willingness to travel to patient homes and work as a 1099 Independent Contractor.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA visits in patients' homes per Plan of Care.
• Perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility interventions.
• Monitor patient response and report progress to supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and communicate with the PT and care team.
