Job summary
A nationwide consulting group is seeking an Independent Consultant in Vermont to conduct one-time in-home medical necessity assessments. This role requires current licensing as a Physical or Occupational Therapist and involves training in wearable device usage. Consultants can set their own schedules and are compensated between $135 to $200 per assessment. Candidates must have strong critical thinking skills and reliable transportation. Qualifications
Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist (Sorry, No PTAs or COTAs).
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and from member homes.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments, and perform physical assessments as needed.
Responsibilities
Participate in training to become a certified wearable device trainer.
Perform one-time medical device training to patients with peripheral neuropathy.
Provide education on the use of the device.
Complete documentation in a timely manner with collaboration with the review team.
