Job summary

A nationwide consulting firm is seeking a Physical / Occupational Therapist Consultant to conduct in-home medical necessity assessments. In this independent contractor role, you will evaluate patient needs and provide expert recommendations. This position allows you to set your own schedule, with compensation ranging from $135 to $200 per assessment based on your location and assessment type. Strong clinical skills and current licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist (PT, OTD, OTR, or OTH).
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and from member homes.
• Proficient with technology: able to navigate online portals.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in an individual’s home.
• Provide expert recommendations for care to maintain independence.
• Complete documentation through an online portal.
