Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent doctoral degree completed prior to fellowship start date (2026).
• Strong background in immunology, aging biology, regenerative biology, developmental biology, stem cell biology, or related fields.
• Ability to conduct mechanistic studies to test and validate hypotheses.
• Proven record of scientific achievement (publications/presentations/patents).
• Willingness to learn, innovate, and develop professionally.
• Experience with cell, organoid, or ex vivo culture; imaging; genetic perturbation; assay development.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute independent, hypothesis-driven research programs.
• Develop and apply in vitro and in vivo model systems to study aging immune system effects.
• Design and perform molecular, cellular, and in vivo experiments to link aging to tissue dysfunction.
• Develop innovative approaches to study tissue regeneration, aging, and cellular plasticity.
• Communicate findings through publications, meetings, and conferences.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across biology, data science, and translational research.
