Backyard Discovery is seeking independent installation contractors to assemble and install residential outdoor playsets across the lower 48 states. This project-based work suits experienced carpenters, builders, or small businesses seeking flexible scheduling and autonomy.

Contractors manage their own taxes and benefits; work is performed on-site at customer locations with per-installation compensation and no guaranteed volume of work.

Qualifications

• Independent contractor with sole proprietorship, LLC, or other business entity.
• Experience in carpentry, construction, or equipment assembly preferred.
• Owns required tools and equipment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to perform outdoor work.
• General liability insurance meeting minimum coverage requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install Backyard Discovery playsets at residential locations.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
• Communicate with customers regarding scheduling and site readiness.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Document completed installations as required.
