As an independent contractor, you will transport petroleum from terminals to customer locations under DOT, FMCSA, and hazmat regulations, with dispatch and operational support from JRP.

This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and long-term partnerships; compensation is contract-based and discussed during qualification.

Formación

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT hours-of-service rules and vehicle inspections.
• Ability to safely load, transport, and deliver hazardous materials.
• Accurate documentation and basic math calculations.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transport and deliver petroleum products to customer locations in compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and maintain required documentation.
• Load and unload petroleum products at terminals and customer locations using approved procedures.
• Verify shipping documents, bills of lading, and delivery information for accuracy.
• Maintain logs, mileage records, inspection reports, and regulatory documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, equipment issues, and customer concerns.
• Safely operate equipment in varying traffic, weather, and delivery conditions.
• Report accidents, incidents, and equipment failures promptly.
• Represent your business professionally while performing transportation services for JRP customers.
