Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores in Texas, performing in-store data collections each week for 52 weeks a year. You will scan product barcodes, collect data, and support major retailers like Walmart and Kroger.

Flexibility in hours and a focus on accuracy are key, with ongoing projects and occasional longer weeks. This role offers independence and the chance to contribute to retail performance insights.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in multiple store locations weekly using a downloadable mobile app.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete in-store display scanning across the entire store each week.
• Participate in additional Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours during peak weeks.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver accurate data to clients.
