Job summary

MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, MD seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the rehabilitation team as the outpatient lead. The role requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CFY completion, and an active state license (MD/DC/VA as applicable).

BLS and ASHA CCC are required. One year of post CFY experience is preferred. The SLP will provide screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, reassessment and documentation, with discharge

• Completion of CFY; one additional year of experience preferred.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in MD/DC/VA as required for location; BLS and ASHA CCC are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation services including review of records and testing; document results.
• Develop and implement treatment plans; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Deliver therapy across settings; ensure discharge planning and follow-up care.
