The Periscope Group is seeking independent consultants to perform one-time in-home medical necessity assessments across the United States. This flexible role offers contractors the freedom to set their own schedules while leveraging clinical expertise in physical or occupational therapy.

As part of the team, you will train to become a certified wearable device trainer, educate patients on device usage, and complete timely documentation with the review team.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (may be purchased).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and navigate varied home environments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to member homes.
• Proficient with technology and online portals for documentation.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Participate in training to become a certified wearable device trainer.
• Perform one-time medical device training to patients with peripheral neuropathy.
• Provide education on device use.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner with collaboration with the review team.
