Job summary

Dane Street, LLC is expanding its physician panel and seeking experienced Orthopedic Surgeons for independent contractor opportunities within a 50-mile range of Corpus Christi, Texas. The role involves conducting Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and performing peer reviews.

Qualified candidates must hold an active Texas medical license and be board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. This position offers flexible, case-based assignments and the potential for supplemental income, all conducted on your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience performing Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and Peer Reviews is preferred.
• Prior Longshore IME and/or Peer Review experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person, objective, defensible IMEs for Longshore cases.
• Perform comprehensive peer reviews of medical records.
• Provide detailed, timely written reports.

Skills

Strong analytical and report-writing skills

Ability to manage case timelines independently

Education

Active, unrestricted Texas medical license

US Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery

AMA 6th Edition Certified (or willing to become certified)
