Matrix Providers seeks a qualified Optometrist to join our provider network as an Independent Contractor for disability examinations. Own office required; per diem opportunities available.

The role emphasizes assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis to support Veterans' disability claims. The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Optometry, an active unrestricted license, and at least 2 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) required.
• An active and unrestricted license.
• Updated resume with minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
• Medical License (Required).

Responsibilities

• As a clinician, you are an expert in the assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis of health conditions for your patients.
• As an independent contractor with us, you apply your clinical expertise in the evaluation and diagnosis of eye conditions to support a Veteran’s disability claim.
• You develop a medical opinion of likelihood that the Veteran’s condition is related to their military service.
