Grocery Outlet invites entrepreneurial leaders to own and operate a local grocery store within our independent operator model. You’ll control store operations, hiring, buying, and community engagement while benefiting from the Grocery Outlet network and corporate support.

This is a full-time opportunity requiring relocation and a hands-on approach to building profitability, with earning potential tied to store performance and commissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ retail store Management or multi-unit restaurant management experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for retail and customer service.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to build and develop a team.
• Business acumen, including financial and operational management experience.
• Willingness to relocate and commit to the full training and onboarding process.
• A drive for success and the ability to work independently while leveraging the Grocery Outlet network.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store functions including inventory, compliance and financial oversight.
• Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing team to deliver customer service and operational excellence.
• Buy and merchandise products to meet local community preferences.
• Engage with the community and support local organizations aligned with our mission.
• Manage financial performance, including sales, margins, expenses and profitability.
• Create an inviting shopping experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked store.
• Run your store the way you think is best for your community, employees and business.
• There is no limit to earnings; higher store sales mean higher commissions.
• Full-time commitment with flexible scheduling to manage own hours.
• Receive training, mentorship, and support from marketing, finance, and business professionals.
