FMOL Health in Jackson, MS is seeking a Nurse Practitioner who cares for patients independently and with physicians under established standards. This role emphasizes illness and injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, and recovery.

You will lead and guide others when appropriate, participate in care planning with an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to quality improvement and education efforts. Current NP certification in Mississippi and BLS are required.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved professional nursing school.
• Completion of Nurse Practitioner program and licensed to practice as NP.
• Current BLS Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Patient assessment and documentation of health history and risks; identify priority care needs.
• Accurate diagnosis and ordering of appropriate diagnostic procedures.
• Implement treatment plans with referrals to the interdisciplinary team.
• Reassess and revise plans of care based on patient findings and outcomes.
• Order tests and review results; discuss plan with patient and family.
• Provide patient education on identified risks and prevention strategies.
