Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking qualified psychologists or psychiatrists to perform Independent Medical Evaluations (IME) across Ohio. You will conduct impartial assessments, determine PPIR ratings, and prepare objective reports for adjudication and case management.

Ideal candidates hold an OH license (or a contiguous state), board certification, and prior IME experience. Travel is required as needed; training and backend support are provided to ensure efficient, compliant evaluations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).
• Board-certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO).
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Ohio or a state contiguous to Ohio.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Prior IME/impairment rating exam experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct impartial comprehensive medical evaluations in accordance with Ohio BWC guidelines.
• Perform Permanent Partial Impairment ratings using AMA Guidelines.
• Document findings and produce objective narrative reports within deadlines.

Job Description:

As an IME Provider, you will conduct impartial comprehensive medical evaluations, assess permanent partial impairment, and author objective narrative reports to support claim adjudication and case management. While some specialized onboarding is provided, relevant clinical experience and a strong willingness to learn are essential.

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations and assessments in accordance with Ohio BWC guidelines and regulations.
• Perform Permanent Partial Impairment Ratings accurately and objectively using the 5th Edition AMA Guidelines.
• Document findings and provide clear, concise reports within established timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the highest level of service to our clients.
• Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
