Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a board-certified Neurologist to join as an Independent Medical Evaluator in Ohio. You will conduct impartial evaluations, determine permanent partial impairment, and craft objective narrative reports for claim adjudication and case management.

The role requires an unrestricted license in OH (or a contiguous state) and a willingness to travel to various Ohio locations. Prior IME experience is preferred but not mandatory, with back-end support provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Neurologist with an active, unrestricted license in OH or a contiguous state.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
• Prior IME/impairment rating experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a board-certified Neurologist (M.D. or D.O.) to join our team as an Independent Medical Evaluator.

Job Description:

As an IME Provider, you will conduct impartial comprehensive medical evaluations, assess permanent partial impairment, and author objective narrative reports to support claim adjudication and case management. While some specialized onboarding is provided, relevant clinical experience and a strong willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations and assessments in accordance with Ohio BWC guidelines and regulations.
• Perform Permanent Partial Impairment Ratings accurately and objectively using the 5th Edition AMA Guidelines.
• Document findings and provide clear, concise reports within established timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the highest level of service to our clients.
• Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
• Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
