Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a board-certified Neurologist (MD or DO) to join us as an Independent Medical Evaluator in Ohio. You will conduct impartial neurological evaluations and write objective narrative reports to support claim adjudication.

This role provides a clear path for clinicians expanding into IMEs, with onboarding support and some travel as needed. You will perform Permanent Partial Impairment ratings using AMA guidelines and collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality service.

We are seeking a board-certified Neurologist (M.D. or D.O.) to join our team as an Independent Medical Evaluator.

Job Description

As an IME Provider, you will conduct impartial comprehensive medical evaluations, assess permanent partial impairment, and author objective narrative reports to support claim adjudication and case management. While some specialized onboarding is provided, relevant clinical experience and a strong willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations and assessments in accordance with Ohio BWC guidelines and regulations.
• Perform Permanent Partial Impairment Ratings accurately and objectively using the 5th Edition AMA Guidelines.
• Document findings and provide clear, concise reports within established timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the highest level of service to our clients.
• Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
• Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Requirements

• Board-certified Neurologist (MD or DO).
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Ohio or a state contiguous to Ohio.
