Job summary

National Courier Express in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Medical Courier Driver to join our time-sensitive, high-security logistics operation. As an independent contractor, you will pickup, transport and deliver critical medical items across healthcare facilities within the state, ensuring safety, HIPAA compliance and on-time performance.

The role requires a reliable vehicle, a valid US driver’s license, clean MVR, background check and ability to pass DOT drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Background check and DOT drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver medical items safely and punctually.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance during every delivery.
• Operate your own insured vehicle and ensure route optimization.
• Complete delivery documentation including POD images and logs.
• Communicate with dispatch about ETA, delays, and instructions.
• Adhere to company policies and safety protocols.
