Healing Springs Wellness Center is seeking an experienced massage therapist to work as an independent contractor in Plantsville, CT. You will provide personalized massage sessions (Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal) with a trauma-informed, client-centered approach.

Responsibilities include documenting sessions, maintaining a calm space, and collaborating with our wellness team. Flexible scheduling with evening/weekend availability is preferred for this in-person role.

Qualifications

• CT massage license in good standing.
• Minimum two years massage experience.
• Current professional liability insurance.
• Compassionate, culturally sensitive approach.
• Strong communication and client-relations skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide massage therapy using Swedish, deep tissue, or prenatal techniques as appropriate.
• Deliver trauma-informed, client-centered bodywork with consent and comfort in mind.
• Integrate complementary modalities when suitable for client needs.
• Collaborate with clients on wellness goals and offer self-care guidance.
• Maintain timely documentation and a clean treatment space.
• Prepare for appointments and post-session follow-up.
• Work with the wellness team and participate in outreach and events.
