Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance in a metal manufacturing environment. You will work with the maintenance manager and team to complete tasks and maintain safety standards.

The role requires hands-on skills with welding, electrical work, and mechanical tools, plus the ability to log activities in a CMMS system. Overtime, on-call duties, and adherence to GMP are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in maintenance preferred.
• 2+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in metal manufacturing; troubleshooting preferred.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice ISO9001 standards for metals manufacturing.
• PLC experience preferred and ability to use welding, cutting, machine, and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with little to no supervision.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Troubleshoot/repair machinery such as slitters, collectors, high speed welders, conveyors, and palletizers.
• Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment.
• Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep.
• Repair and assess electrical issues as they arise.
• Log labor/parts in CMMS system according to established expectations.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and off-shifts as required.
• May participate in on-call program and work additional hours as needed.
• Understand safety policies and PPE requirements.
