Job summary

Marrakech, Inc. is hiring a Recovery Assistant to support individuals with mental health disabilities who have transitioned to living in their own homes. You will help with daily living activities, promote independence, and assist with community engagement.

Role requires a High School Diploma or GED, some related experience, and certification readiness. A CT driver’s license and CPR/First Aid are preferred; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3-6 months related experience or internship or training program.
• Ability to complete the Recovery Assistant Certification course and all required training.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (grocery shopping, meals, chores, budgeting, routines).
• Teach and reinforce skills promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
• Support individuals in achieving goals in recovery plans.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and community activities.
• Complete required documentation including case notes, logs, and timesheets.

Valid Connecticut Driver's License
