Job summary

Hope Network is seeking a Residential Instructor in Grand Rapids, MI, to provide direct support and supervise residents within our residential programs. You will help individuals develop daily living skills, promote independence, and participate in community activities while maintaining a safe, structured environment.

The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and teamwork, with emphasis on person-centered care and strong communication to build trust and support residents’ growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass background checks and fingerprints.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living (ADLs), personal care, and medications.
• Support community outings, transportation, and activities.
• Build positive relationships and encourage independence.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
