Job summary

Dungarvin is a mission-driven provider delivering in-home and in-community support to help individuals with disabilities live more independent lives. The role requires a valid driver's license, flexible scheduling, and a commitment to person-centered care across multiple settings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or 21 depending on the person-served.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and reliable vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Associates in relevant field or two years' equivalent experience.
• Willing to drive a 30-mile radius.
• Adept in the use of technology and possess a smart device with adequate data plan.
• Flexible and a team player; able to support the person-served.
• Good reading, writing, and communication to document care and follow plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals 1:1 in in-home and in-community settings.
• Help with daily activities like personal care, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Maintain a clean, safe space and help individuals reach personal goals.
• Provide skill development in community participation, health, safety, wellness, and household management.
• Accompany on errands/appointments; budgeting and social integration.
• Attend team meetings; write progress reports; coordinate with support team.
• Create lasting positive impacts through coaching and mentorship.
