Job summary

JusticeWorks YouthCare seeks a Full-Time Independent Living Specialist in Butler County to help youth transition to independent living. You will work closely with youth to build essential life skills, guide educational and career planning, and promote budgeting and healthy decision-making.

The role requires evening and weekend availability, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to supporting youth through community resources and stipend programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass background clearances.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with youth to build independent living skills.
• Provide guidance in education, career, and employment planning.
• Teach daily living skills, budgeting, and financial responsibility.
• Support substance abuse prevention and healthy decision-making.
• Assist youth in obtaining items through the stipend program.
• Connect youth with community resources (housing, education, employment).
• Transport youth to homes, foster placements, and program sites using your personal vehicle.
