Qualifications

  • 2 years experience working with ABI with High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1 year experience working with ABI with Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with individuals to improve independent living skills.
  • Provide non-medical care and supervision in accordance with service plans.

Job description

Project Genesis, Inc. is currently seeking staff to deliver services as Independent Living Skills Trainers (ILST) within our Acquired Brain Injury Program.
Work one-on-one with individuals in New London county to help improve their ability to live independently in the community. Provide non-medical care, supervision, and socialization in accordance with the client’s service plan.

Requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation, good driving record, valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • 2 years experience working with ABI with High School Diploma or Equivalent OR 1 year experience working with ABI with Bachelor's degree.
