Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• One year of relevant supervised work experience in public health, human services or related community service.
• Two years' verifiable experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• CNA or Medical Assistant certification qualifies for special entry rate.
• Must pass background checks and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional training to Pathfinder, Inc. residents and assist in acquiring daily living and survival skills.
• Collect data, monitor training programs, and supervise residents in daily routines.
• Instruct in home management, cooking, cleaning, grooming and socialization using behavioral techniques.
• Manage medications reminders and ensure safe community inclusion activities.
• Attend meetings, communicate resident needs to staff, and provide transportation as needed.
