Position Overview

Self Care Counseling is seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist to join our Columbus, OH office. (Near the Columbus Airport) This position provides the opportunity to work with a diverse client population while receiving support from an experienced leadership team focused on professional growth, clinical excellence, and long-term success.We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about helping others, committed to ethical and high-quality care, and interested in becoming part of a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, and couples counseling services as appropriate

Qualifications

Required

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
• Active OH license including LPCC LISW, LMFT, or equivalent
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to complete documentation in a timely and professional manner
• Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centered care

Preferred

• Experience providing outpatient mental health counseling
• Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, or families
• Training in evidence-based treatment approaches
• Experience utilizing electronic health records

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000+ annually

Schedule Expectations

Self Care Counseling values flexibility and work-life balance while ensuring clients have access to care when they need it most.Full-time clinicians are expected to maintain approximately 36 hours of weekly availability for client care and related responsibilities. To ensure accessibility for working professionals, clinicians are expected to maintain at least one evening each week with availability extending until approximately 6:30-7:00 PM. This role requires at minimum 3 days in office with the option for work from home days.
