Job summary

Western Infectious Disease Consultants (WIDC) is seeking a full-time Infectious Disease physician to join our established, physician-owned practice serving the Denver metro area since 1982. The role covers inpatient and outpatient care with infusion services in Lakewood and Broomfield, offering autonomy and opportunities for leadership within a growing practice.

The practice provides HIV care, PrEP, Hepatitis C treatment, infusion services, travel medicine, telemedicine, and potential wound care

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease.
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Interest in practicing within an independent, physician-led organization.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacy staff, clinical operations, and administrative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide infectious disease care across inpatient and outpatient services.
• Support infusion services coordination at Lakewood and Broomfield.
• Collaborate with nursing, pharmacy, and operations for therapy plans and follow-up.
• Remain available for physician-level questions and care escalation when needed.
• Support consistent clinical workflows, documentation standards, and patient safety across locations.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement efforts related to infusion services and patient outcomes.
